Pubic lice or ‘crabs’ cause intense itching of the genital area. Pubic lice treatment involves applying a lotion over the whole body and washing this off after 12 hours. This is repeated after 7 days. If you are concerned about pubic lice, please attend your nearest clinic for an examination.
